Actions of the association :
This year the association hosted an event for the exchange of tourist literature between tourist professionals 60 members attended in previous years this event was organised by the Chambers of Commerc and Industry.
20 association members participated in a research trip departing form Dol de Bretagne on the 5th june 2006 to neighbouring tourist sites.
The principle objective of the association is to utilise the combiend resources of the Public and private sectors to develop strategies that will ensure the long term sustainability of the tourist industry in the Mont Saint-Michel Bay area.
INTERDEPARTMENTAL WORKING GROUP :
- In order to achieve this objective it is intended to form a working group consisting of association members and public representatives to share their mutual expertise and experience.
- The association will act as an ambassador to protect the interests of the tourism professionals working in the area.
- A major concern at this point in time is the extensive infrastructural work to the existing transport network serving the Mont Sain-Michel.
