TECHNICAL PARTNERS

The technical partners associated with the implementation of each of the projects carried through within the framework of the Important Site Campaign depended on the issues dealt with. Work groups were drawn up in which the following partners were called upon :

  • State services: Prefecture, Sub-prefecture, Regional Board of Environment, Département Board of Public Amenities, Département Board of Maritime Affairs, Département Board of Agriculture and Forests, Département section for Heritage and Architecture

  • Conservatoire de l’Espace Littoral and the Rivages Lacustres (Organisation for the preservation of coastal and lakeside shores)

FINANCIAL PARTENERS

The initial financing for this operation, allocated in 1995, represented 7.6 million euros.

State loans for a sum of 3.8 million euros have been divided equally between La Manche and Ille-et-Vilaine. The Regions of Lower-Normandy and Brittany, as well as the Départements of la Manche and Ille-et-Vilaine, are joint financiers.
In addition, for each of the projects, other loans can be joined together, such as European subsidies (FEDER and FEOGA) and financing by local authorities (Town Communities and Towns), etc.
