TO KNOW SOME MORE

The Moidrey Windmill

From the top of the hill, the wonderfully restored Moidrey Windmill overhangs the Bay and the Polders of Mont-Saint-Michel.

This Windmill, dating back to 1806, is more than just a view point, inviting you to explore a magical place. Unsuspected milling techniques will sweep you along on a journey from grain to flour.

You will smell that delicious local smell, hear the quiet “tic tac” of the cogwheels and see the beauty of the workings.

Flour from the mill, an essential item for the making of our famous galettes and crêpes (pancakes), is sold on site.
Push open the Mill door, awaken your senses and partake of the passion the miller has for his mill and trade.
